What It Costs
The first driver's license is free for Magnolia Hills residents. Everything else is priced below.
Fees are paid in Linden dollars in character. The DMV does not collect payment through this website — once an application is approved, staff will move it to Awaiting Payment and tell you where to pay in world.

How an application moves
From Submitted to Issued
Every application begins at Submitted. Staff move it along as it is reviewed, as your photograph arrives, and as your fee is paid.
Check your application status
Looking up an application by its number on this website is coming. Until then, staff will update you in your DMV service ticket in Discord — quote your application number and they will find it.

Opening a DMV ticket
Nearly everything after you submit an application happens in a DMV service ticket in the Magnolia Hills Discord — your photograph, your questions, your status updates and your payment instructions.
- Join the Magnolia Hills Discord if you have not already.
- Go to the DMV ticket channel, [ADD DMV TICKET CHANNEL NAME], and open a new ticket.
- Include your Second Life legacy name and your application number so staff can match the ticket to your application.
- Attach your photograph if you are applying for an identification card, permit or driver's license.
